This was an amazing place to stay for a B & B. Easy walking distance to downtown. The rooms were spotless, the beds the greatest, the breakfast in the morning to die for. Always something different - not just your regular continental breakfast, but a full meal with fruit, eggs and some form of meat with toast or muffins and cereal. The living room was a comfy place to hang out and visit. Wifi available and laundry facility if needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Friendly host and hostess.

We stayed here for just a night, but wish it had been longer! The place was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean ! The bed was incredibly comfortable. The host was very welcoming. It is located close to all the downtown attractions. We really enjoyed our stay here!

I agree with all of the recent five-star reviews! I never look at reviews older than a year or two... That's a waste of time. If you are looking for a motel room with nasty floors a lot of noise and poor decor... this place is not for you. And yes... the outside appearance is a little rough...who cares!.... You are not buying this place! It is a $20.00, 8 min Lyft ride from the Ted Andrews airport. Yes it is downtown Anchorage, and travellers who do their homework... should know how close it is to things. There is no 7/11 nearby...so plan ahead. The Ramada inn is only 4 or 5 blocks away, and that is where I walk to to pick up my tour bus. My breakfast was great. Fruit, hb eggs, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, cheese, coffee, granola, trail mix, hot chocolate, and cereal. One should not go hungry! You fix everything yourself in a wonderful kitchen with a nice dining area. The Roku TV in my room worked great. WiFi great! My bedroom was great and the common areas are very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who can walk (great if you have a car) and climb a flight of stairs. I really felt like someone was going out of their way to make me comfortable!!!! Plus I absolutely love the name of the place!

I was so impressed by all the staff working at the Arctic Fox. It started off by us getting to town earlier then our check in time. When I called to see if we could get in early, they said we could drop off our luggage and they would also give us a map of the city and give us ideas of places to eat and visit. I was very impressed by the owner who really took his time with my husband and I. There were so many things in walking distance from the Inn. The rooms were very neat and beautifully decorated! Quiet music was playing as we walked in. We were leaving early the next day so the staff put brown bag breakfasts in our refrigerator. The breakfast was very tasty! The Arctic Fox was a wonderful place to stay. I wish we had been there longer.

We loved our nest at the Arctic Fox for the time we stayed there . |Comfortable, clean , friendly, light and a beautiful view . We loved the space, opportunity to prepare meals and socialize. Bedroom and bed comfortable and made us sleep well. |We recommend Apt 5 of the Artic Fox !

Loved how clean, quiet and restful our room with a private bath was! We were able to enjoy a warm shower and soft sheets after camping for many days. The breakfast was very tasty and healthy, and we loved getting to know about the history of the B&B from one of the owners. Also, the location is really great with free, safe parking. Highly recommend!

It was my favorite place to stay while visiting Alaska. It was easy to book, and I really, really appreciated the remote check in- it was so easy and convenient!! The atmosphere here was so comfy, homey, and relaxing. It was also walking distance to some shopping and restaurants. I would absolutely stay here again.

Angela was amazing! She helped us with our bags up the stairs and checked on us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and to see if we needed anything. Unit number 5 was very clean, spacious, and comfortable with excellent amenities. That grab and go breakfast was perfect to start the day. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!

Friendly host who allowed an early check in since the space was available. My apt was clean, quiet and very comfortable. I slept very well. The location is close enough to walk to restaurants. It also has space for your rental car. Lots to do in the area. The unit has a full kitchen, spacious bathroom, sofa and dinette table if you choose to cook or bring food. I advise picking up water, juice and snacks on your way in before check in. Lots of storage space if needed. Luxurious towels, and the thickest and nicest floor rug. For those who wear makeup- please bring makeup remover towels. The owners request you do not use their towels to remove makeup. I understand their requests. The towels are great and unstained. If I'm back in the area I would choose their location.

We recommend the Arctic Fox. Convenient to the train station and a short walk to downtown where we caught the trolley tour. The room, unit E , was perfect, comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom. The free light breakfast was perfect for getting our day started. The host was very accommodating with holding our luggage until we left for the airport. More intimate than a hotel , we enjoyed our experience. Clean and organized.
